Strand Section is a female-founded lifestyle brand celebrating Southern California, originating in Manhattan Beach, CA. With a focus on Creativity, Sustainability, and Community, we’re turning art into contemporary fashion that is as unique as our sunsets. 

We’re proud to ethically create our styles within our community of Los Angeles - from yarn all the way to finished garment - working with family owned manufacturers and local artists.

We use recycled and organic material to reduce waste going back into our environment and to keep our planet vibrant for future generations

Our mission is to create wearable art that stands out amongst a sea of monotony - all while making a positive impact for both our local community of artists and manufacturers and our collective global community by protecting our environment.

BPA is an endocrine disruptor, which means it upends the normal healthy functioning of the hormonal systems that control nearly all of the processes within your body and can cause a multitude of long-term healthy issues. We are proud to be BPA Free to guarantee our garments do not contain Bisphnol A and other Phenolic compounds.

Global Recycled Standard

A rigorous voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product. The standard applies to the full supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content and labeling.

Organic Textiles Standard

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) was developed by leading standard setters to define world-wide recognized requirements for organic textiles. From the harvesting of the raw materials, environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing to labelling, textiles certified to GOTS provide a credible assurance to the consumer.
