Bright and bold, developed using traditional macramé techniques for over 15 years, The Jacksons jute bags are both practical and playful. Designed in their Notting Hill studio and then handmade by craftswomen in rural southern Bangladesh, they’re the perfect beach bag, shopper, travel bag, or stylish everyday tote.

The Jackson bags are crafted entirely from locally grown jute, an extremely strong raw material that grows abundantly in Bangladesh. Known locally as the ‘golden fibre,’ jute has a low environmental impact, absorbing carbon dioxide and improving air quality.

The women who create The Jacksons bags are paid directly for the work that they do. The Jacksons are proud to be working on a project to increase financial independence for women in 60 villages across Southwest Bangladesh.
